About Us

A global goldsmithing tradition
that started from afar

Arango is an Italian goldsmith house specializing in silver, brass and gold jewelry. Founded in Cortona, in the province of Arezzo, it carries forward a family tradition dating back to the 1950s.

A journey that became tradition

Arango's story begins in Asturias, in northern Spain. From there, across the Atlantic, the goldsmith's craft is learned on the job, working silver in Central America: it is there, facing the ocean, that the guiding idea behind every Arango jewel takes shape — giving metals the shimmer of the sun on the sea.

In the 1950s the journey lands in Tuscany, where the family goldsmithing tradition is born, a tradition still alive today in our technicians and modelers. On January 12, 1990, the company that would come to be known as Arango Srl was founded in Cortona, in the province of Arezzo — then under a different company name, but with the same expertise already built in working precious metals. From there the business expanded over time to include, today, silver, brass and gold.

★ 2490 AR

On November 10, 2010, the Arezzo Chamber of Commerce assigned the company the hallmark for precious metals 2490 AR: every piece is stamped to guarantee origin, metal purity and traceability under Italian law.
